ONE MAN, ONE JOB. UNIONISTS HIT. BROKEN HILL. February 10. The Barrier Industrial Council last ni<rht decided that members of all affiliated unions eiiall observe the policy of one man one job. and that any me:nber not carrying out the policy shall be dealt with as the council thinks fit.

The official interpretation of the decision is that all members in receipt of the basic wage or over shall be- debarred from holding any position from which any remuneration is attached. Parttime secretaries of lodges and men employed on racecourses and nt soorts satherings will not be permitted to'augment their earnings. Many prominent union men will be affected by the decision, included being a number of musicians who are employed at the mines during the day.
