COBHAM LEAVES CAPETOWN. CAPETOWN, February 28. Mr. Alan J. Cobham, the noted English airman, has left on his return journey to London. He is carrying with him many letters, including one from the Earl of Athlone, Governor-General of South Africa, to King George.— (A. and N.Z. Cabie.) It was only 12 days ago, on February 17, to be exact, that Mr. Cobham arrived at Capetown, thus completing his 8020 miles' flight from London, which he left on November 16. The day after his arrival at the Cape he was gratified with the news that he had been awarded the Britannia Trophy for the best flight of 1025, being that to India undertaken in company with Sir Sefton Branckner.
