EXAMINATION COMMITTEE'S RETORT. (Hy Telegraph.—3?ress Association.) DUNEDIN, Saturday. The Methodist Conference agreed that the report of the examination committee be received, and that the Revs. J. H. Allen, L. A. G. Brooks, J. F. Jack, and H. C. Orchard be ordained to full work of the ministry, that the Tiers'. A. Blakemore, E. W. Haines, M. Ayrton, J. Bailey, F. Batcup, E. H. Brooker, H. G. Brown, H. L. Fiebig, H. S. Kings, R. McGregor, O. S. Pearn, J. Reid, H. Spencer, C. R. Taylor, F. G. Brown, G. I. Laurenson, and "g. H. R. Peterson be advanced a year in their probations; that Messrs. J. H. Hall. G. R. Harris and A. H. "Voyce, having completed three years in the Theological College, be received on probation. _ The following students are to continue to have theological training: B. R. Haines, N. P. Larsen. A. R. Perm, I. M. Eaynor, A. W. E. Silvester, H. V. Uttmg, J. D. Grocott, C. 0. Hailwood, P. J. Handy, F. E: Hayman and H H Jeffreys. R. H. Miles" and M. Paulger are allowed to rest for twelve months on account of their ill-health. C E Dickens, H. Fallows, N. Gutry, H. Hitehfock, L. Horwood, A. T. " Kent, H ■Noble, and W. Parker were received as candidates for theological training. Congratulations were extended to Revs. W. Baumber, P. W. Jones, G Gnffen and W. S. Pottes. who have completed 50 years in the ministry. The necessity of men being set aside to deal solely with youth work was considered and remitted to the district synods.
