DEADLY LEVEL CROSSING.

YET ANOTHER FATALITY.

MARRIED MAN KILLED. PORTER WAVES A WARNING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Yet another fatality at a level crossing has occurred. William Power, of Karori, a married man, was driving a car across the railway line at Porirua this evening, when it was struck by a goods train from Wellington. A porter saw Mr. Power approaching as the train was drawing near and waved to the motorist to stop. The latter went on. however, and the train struck the car and smashed it to fragments. Mr. Power was thrown right out of the car. He either fell on his head or was struck by the train. When picked up he was found to be dead.
