CRITICISM OF CHANCELLOR. LONDON, January 31. Mr. Phillip Snowden, M.P., who wag| Chancellor of the Exchequer before Mr. Winston Churchill, in a speech at Burnley, attacked Mr. Winston Churchill** Italian debt settlement. He said that ii Mr. Churchill remained in charge of the Exchequer the country would soon have no national assets. He could not have believed that any man could bring the finances of the country to such a deplorable state in 12 months.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
