(By Telegraph.-Press Association.) '. CHRISTCHUKCH, this day. At a breezy meeting of the Canterbury Centre of the Rugby Football League on Saturday evening a motion was parried regretting that their secretary, Mr. W. S. Movie, had resigned owing *o the demand of the New Zealand Council, expressing the fullest confidence in him and stating that all the hooks had been passed by the auditors. Delegates said that the New Zealand Council had tried .Mr. Movie on hearsay and heresy. One blamed :he sectarian issue.
A motion was also carried disqualifying for ever two ex-delegates from the Sydenham Club, Messrs. McKeon and Hooper, who were blamed for causing the trouble.
