'''-- ■ — . ; r CARS ■ ; . I y4# Aucklander's Appreciation j Auckland, 21st January, 1926. Messrs. Seabrook,. Fowlds and Coy. AUCKLAND. | Dear Sirs, , ' ' % I have now had my Austin 12 h.p. for ten months, and during that period have registered just on -\ 12,000 miles. Naturally doing such a large mileage in such a limited time I have done quite a lot of | country touring, and I have great pleasure in stating that I have not yet experienced engine or Tunning trouble of any sort, and the car is now running as sweet as ever. The bogey that "The English | .. cat is not suited to N.Z. roads" is exploded, for I will take on any road with my Austin that any other car gj will tackle and I will get there as soon as the other fellow. As a hill climber my Austin is a champion, % and I have never handled a car easier to control in the congested city traffic. The greatest feature of 1 my Austin is its consistency, as one can start on a long run at a good average speed and continue at the | same gait all day long without any fear of over heating; in fact my car has never yet been really %, hot. For economy it can hold its own with any car of the same power, my average for city travelling, | with its fequent stops and starting, being 25 miles to the gallon, and on long runs to the country I i have managed* to work up to 33 miles to the gallon. | f ~\ , During the last 14 years I have driven numerous makes of % cars, and I am looked upon as a very severe driver, who takes Im-JU : . all there is out of a car, but the Austin has stood up to the test, ? HBfe I and I am more than content to keep mine until a better Austin f~ /O& /fs THERE IS AUSTIN SERVICE IN YOUR DISTRICT: ■ \ 1 Waikato: J.
