ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE.
ROY CHARLES DORN.
CASE CALLED AT HAMILTON. A CURIOUS POSITION". (By Telegraph.— Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A somewhat curious position arose at the Hamilton Court to-day regarding Roy Charles Dorn. who was last week remanded to appear to-day for the alleged attempted murder of Muriel Tot /.la IT. The police suited that Dorn is also being charged lit Auckland, where a further remand would be asked for. It was necessary, however, to ask for a remand at Hamilton. Mr. Wyvern Wilson. S.M.. said that as the man was not present lie could not drill with him. He then asked for information. Senior Sergeant Sweeney thought that it was at Xgaruawahia where the case originally opened. The Magistrate declared that as the man was not present, and the information was not produced, the ease ended there its far a- he was concerned. He dismissed the charge for want of a prosecution. *&•'
