The crosscut for the Waiot.ihiCambria reef has been extended four feet for the week. The hard quartz in Inn hack and half-way down he face has been passed through, boulder formation now showing in its place. From the floor and half-way up the face is country rock carrying mineral seams favourable for gold. Belter progress should now be made. Kiiranni.— The manager reports lhat the drive west on Hnss' reef lias been extended 14ft; total. lL'Sft from side ..;' main crosscut. The reef here is still very small and the country disturbed. Mrive north "ii cross leader has been extended 7:"': total, losft from side of drive on X..>-' reef. This leader averages sin wide, ami looks well, being in nice country, ,-in.l still gives fair prospects by dish washing, but no g,,l was seen in the >touc.
