i. MONTHLY MEETING. I The Mauukau County Council met yesterday, when there were present Messrs. ! I". M. Waters. C. S. McCallum. G. H. -Morrison. F. Grainger, X. Speechlay. and I S. W. House. ! i The engineer reported that proposals I 0 i for the reconstruction and paving with i 1; I concrete of the Great South Road had heeu j forwarded for the approval of the High- | L ways Hoard. Repairs and water supply • c I connections and extensions were being . proceeded with in the Mangere Riding. | The tin-tailing aud repairing of other roads I *: in the various counties were receiving I . -1 attention. The report was adopted. | c j The inspector reported that — building i. j permits were issued in the county during i: December.
