RICH HEIRESS' REGRET. A VANDERBILT ALSO WEDS. NEW YORK, January 8. The rich Consuelo Vanderbilfc and the poor Earl Smith were married to-day in a most conventional fashion in the Fifth Avenue Vanderbilt mansion at almost the same hour as marked the return of Irving Berlin and his bride the latter going on her knees to her father in an attempt to get his forgiveness and arrange an additional ceremony according to the Catholic rHes. "It was the worst honeymoon a bride ever had. I'm sick at heart," declared EHen, who announced the abandonment of-their Transatlantic wedding tour.
