SOLD "BEN HUR."
SAW FILM—DIED. NEW YORK, January 12. At the fitst screening of "Ben Hur," for the picture rights of which the producers had paid him 1,000,000d01, sat Henry L. Wallace, aged 73, son of General Lew Wallace, who wrote the etory. After the performance Wallace died.
