BOOKSELLERS CONFER.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The fifth annual conference of the \New Zealand Booksellers' Association has just concluded, with representation from all parts of the Dominion, also two representatives from Australia. The conference was held in private, many important matters being discussed. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. H. C. South, Wellington; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. J. Edmiston, Auckland; G. H. Bennett, Palmerston North and H. L. Humphreys, Dunedin. Executive, D. Byers, Timaru; C. W. Poynter, Wanganui; A. J. Coveney, Christchurch; H. G. Carman, Taranaki; H. E. Pither, Masterton and W. J. Osborn, C. A. Innes, H. F. MacGregor, and N. E. Aitken, Wellington.
