DISPERSED WITH TEAR BOMBS MAD TORCH DANCE. EVAXSTOX (U.S.), December 1. Tn "dry" America student "ra^s -, are quite as troublesome to the authorities as they are in other countries—sometimes even more troublesome. At Evanston in Illinois 1000 student* of the North-Western University celebrated a football victory. After various mad e*enp.-irlos they burned down the fraternity house of their college. Then, armed with torches, they started a T<cd Tndian snake dance around the old stadium. They were on the poi-nt of burning that, tao, when policy were called in. During the pitched battle which followed, many on both sides were severely hurt. The students were finally dispersed with tear bomlw and a fire hose.
