WAIUKU NEWS.
PUBLIC LIBRAKT OPENED. (From our own Correspondent.) WAIUKU, Tuesday. The Waluku public library, wag formally opened this afternoon; funds were raised by a carnival two months ago, the amount oj £150 being obtained; added to this has been several donations of suitable books. The library Is housed in the "News" office building. There are about 600 books, all ol the latest works; these will be added to from time to time. Accommodation is provided for 2000 books. A good number of subscribers were enrolled during the afternoon
