LABOUR IN KAIPARA.
CHALLENGE TO PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Ov.n c-or respondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Mr. W. E. Barnard, Labour candidate for Kaipara, addressed about 300 electors in Dargaville last night, and had a splendid hearing. The Mayor presided. Mr. Barnard spoke for two and a-half hours on the land policy, National Motherhood Endowment, and State Bank. He sent a challenge to the Prime Minister to issue & Government National Motherhood Endowment policy, to be published in the local Press before November 4. The candidate -was bombarded with questions, •nd answered them well. A vote of thanks was passed for an •ble speech.
