RUSSO-GERMAN TREATY,
A ONE-SIDED DOCUMENT. IN FAVOUR OF SOVIETS. DISAPPOINTMENT IN GERMANY (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 14. The Berlin correspondent of the "Times" sa.ys that the Soviet's enthusiasm over the signing of the Busso-Ger-man trade treaty finds little eeh.o in Germany, where it is regarded as a one-sided document, which the Government approved on the eve of the Locarno conference as a proof that Germany did not intend to injure German relationsNobody pretends it is not much more favourable to Russia than Germany, and so far as the terms are known, it ie received with a shrug of shoulders. It was completed hastily for political purposes, and the best provision is considered to be that limiting the duration to two years. It in no way bridges the onormous gulf separating the economic systems of the two countries. —"Times."
