I§.|sir, —I had, with others, the \_ffljr of seeing at the Strand Theatre, jpjjtickland, an exhibition by the New |p2§aaland Publicity Department, a splendid series of New Zealand cinema films. _j5 whole, the photography was ex;|m3lent, the execution fine, the pictorial (cstory quite fascinating, and the concepIgjlSn generally as an advertising medium jgi. Home and abroad for our splendid ipiftle country, so big in natural revery creditable to our Publicity Department. A few months ago the pleasure of seing some hun',W]ed3 of thousand feet of cinema scenic ;fc*nd industrial advertising films of ;?_a_ada and the United States in the !|Eii'bli_ity Departments of the respec!pjt_ countries, and am thus all the lePpre pleased to be able to say, "Well ipSftne" to our own Publicity Department's jHatest effort. I should like to see North [fcAuckland in the sweep of the picture, jpßar in many respects this district is the (Showground of the Dominion. Parti:§*!tlarly would I refer to the desirability ;__gt having the Trounson National Kauri if^ark —a place of wonderful beauty and ;j%'joy forever —given an honoured place ■(4n the production. —I am, etc., IS?
