WAITEMATA CLUB. The season will be closed on Saturday next, when mixed foursomes will be played. Players arrange partners. Prizes and trophies won during the season will be distributed at the conclusion of the game. Following is the result of the eclectic match, best of three rounds: —F. Layzell 58 net, K. Baxter 61, J. Hogan 61, H. Porter 61, F. Warren 62, B. Jackson 62, E. Rudge 64.
PUPUKE CLUB
The play-off for the monthly medal will be played on Saturday next, the finalists being:—F. H. Minpay, A. M. Howden, A. W. Clark, M. lE. Thompson. A. Warbrick and H. A. Gould. The draw is: Mingay plays Clark, Thompson plays "Warbrick, Howden plays Gould. The final of the club championship will also be played on Saturday between F. H. Mingay and A. XV. Clark, over 36 holes.
TAUMARUNUI CHAMPIONSHIP
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, Tuesday. In the final of Taumarunui Golf Club's senior championship H. C. Leese defeated J. Soler, last year's champion, 3 up and 2 to piay. Both Leese and Soler played good j;olf, X.eese being very accurate with his short work and playing a good all-round game. Keen interest was shown in the match, which was followed by several local enthusiasts.
