FOUND DROWNED.

Ever since Mr, John Mercer Byucp, of St, Ledger Road (near Tβ Auramutq) wai missed from.hjg home last Tuesday week his family and friends have diligently searched for hia body, bejjg convinced that the unfortunate man' had been drowned in the Punuj River, which pa see s ajpng th.c back of., hie farm and only a few hundred yards-from hie hom«steadp Yesterday afternopn w e r4 was sent into Tβ Awamutu stating that Mr gruee's bpdy had been fp«!d hi the Punui, about 100 yds downstream from where the marks seen in the bank on the Tuesday he was missing indicated that he had entered the stream. Constable Doyle promptly proceeded to the scene, and the body wae removed from the water and brought into Te Awamutu.
