BANKRUPTCIES INCREASING. BERLIN, September 14. The extent of the crisis in industrial Geiinany is evidenced by the fact that whereas there were 253 bankruptcies in 1923, there were CO3S in 1324, and 4324 in the first half of 1925. There were 797 bankruptcies in July, this being at the rate of 9564 a year. These are apart from firms which are under Court supervision owing to financial troubles. The textile, automobile, machine, and building firms haA-e been badly affected. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
