FRENCH AIRMAN KILLED.
HIS COMPANION HURT. PARIS, September 14. Two airmen, M. de Coste and M. Thierry, left the Etampes aerodrome yesterday to attempt a non-stop flight to Constantinople, Bagdad, Bunder Abbas, and Karachi. The aviators encountered a thick fog when flying over the Black Forest and lost their direction. An attempt to land was made, and the aeroplane crashed into a tree. M. Thierry was killed and M. de Coste slightly injured.— ("Sun" and Reuter.)
