DRESSES GLOW IN DARK. LONDON, September 2. A phosphorescent lace creation, which causes dance frocks to glow in the dark, is one of the new dress secrets of London's fashion fair. The "Evening News" says that the luminous paint with which the lace is treated produces an intriguing effect in the ball room, but may have its drawbacks in certain circumstances. Many of the new patchwork cloaks resemble a Japanese flower garden. Fuchsia, wine, saxe blue and rosewood are the most I popular colours.
