Heavy rainfall in the Hiroshima and Tamacuchi Prefectures on Monday resulted in the flooding of rivers, inundation of a large number of houses, the deetruction of bridges, and the. interruption of communications. Ifc is reported there were several fatalities at a number of places. The casualties will probably total over 100.— (A. andX.Z. Cable.)
