FILM EXHIBITORS' DINNER.

j A complimentary dinner was given last levening in honour, of Mr. W. A. Gib3on, ; managing director of Australasian Films, 'New Zealand Limited, by the Auckland and provincial theatres. Thirty exhibitors were present. Mr. Henry Hayward presided and proposed the* health of Mr. Gibson. "Film Exchanges." was proposed by Mr. Bud Atkinson!" and was responded to by Mr. Ralph Doyle, general manager of the United Artists' of Australia, Limited. The toast of the Auckland Theatre Proprietors' Association was proposed by Mr. Gibson, and Mr. R. T. Michaels, president, responded. Mr. W. Martin proposed the Press.
