FRENCH LOSSES IN SYRIA.
REINFORCEMENTS SENT. PARIS, August 13. The Premier (M. Painleve) announces that dispatches from General Sarrail show that the French losses in Syria, killed, wounded, prisoners, and missing, total 800 to date. M. Painleve says the French capital, Seide, is surrounded, but the garrison has food and ammunition for 40 days. A relief.force is being sent. Calm now prevails in Syria.—Reuter.
