NEW SOUTH WALES POLITICS.
PARTY BICKERING. SYDNEY, August 13. In the State Legislative Assembly today the motion of the Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, in favour of) day sittings of Parliament, was adopted by 44 rotes to 40. Strong protests were made by Sir George Fuller, Leader of the Opposition, and other members of his party. Subsequently, Sir George moved a censure motion in the form of an amendment to the "> Address-in-Reply. The motion was'that the words: "We desire to inform, your Excellency that the Government does not posseses the confidence of the House" be inserted in the address. This will enable the Opposition Leader to attack the Government on every possible subject. The debate on the censure motion was adjourned until Tuesday, The Legislative Council adopted the Address-in-Rcply. In the Assembly Lieutenant-Colonel M. F. Brux er, LeLader of the Progressive party, officially announced that the name of the party had been changed to the Country party.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
