TREATMENT IN DOMINION.
BOMBAY COUNCIL BOYCOTT.
DELHI, August 9. The Bombay Municipal Corporation has received a letter from the Government of New Zealand urging the exemption of the Dominion from the operation of the resolutions adopted by the corporation in March, 1923. These resolutions involved the boycotting, of the Dominion's banks and insurance companies as a protest against the treatment of Indians overseas. The letter adds: "Indians in New Zealand do not labour under disabilities." (Reuter.)
