FOOL-PROOF 'PLANES.
"LIZZIES" OF THE AIR. MR. FORD'S ACTIVITIES. (Received 12 noon.) NEW YORK, August 9. Mr. H. Ford has purchased the Stout Metal Aeroplane Company's interests in Detroit for £200,000. Mr. Ford's aim is to advance aeroplane development. He said: "The first thing to be done is to make aerial navigation fool-proof. At present it is 90 per cent man and 10 per cent 'plane.
