ELECTRIC RETICULATION. A meeting of the New Lynn District (j Community Guild was held a± St. Thomas' jj Hall on Monday night. The meeting of jj ratepayers and residents was convened by jj the guild for the purpose of providing an (( opportunity to discus, the condition of the \\: district. There were pre- JJ sent 106 ratepayers, and a total gathering jj of over 200 adult residents. • Resolutions {{ were presented to the meeting and each U very fully discussed and In evejy ln- jj stance carried unanimously: "That, seeing jj that the electrical reticulation of the Jj New Lynn district Is not a satisfactory jj scheme, this meeting strongly protests JJ against the action of the New Lynn Town JJ Board in not placing all particulars before JJ the ratepayers, .and that-we demand that aJJ scheme' be formulated 'to reticulate the JJ whole district." "That this meeting de- jj mands that a public meeting be convened Jj by the New Lynn Town Board nnd art- jj dressed by its members,', to consider any jj loan proposal affecting this ;district. that jj meeting to be convened at least twenty- jj eight days before., placing such loan or jj .loans before, a poll of ratepayers." "That jj '• this. meeting of ratepayers considers that jj •'the present administration &of the New {} Lynn Boards is. unsatisfactory.!' It was. JJ resolved that these resolution*'be conveyed, JJ to the board, and that a deputa- JJ .tion of the following , should wait jj upon the board in support:—Messrs. jj Fielding, Goldstone..
