Half the cargo of the City of Salisbury sold on Saturday «t 57/6. and part or the Thlstlero's at .56/9 and 56/3. Parcels are held ror 1/ to 1/6 advance. Trade is disappointing. Parcels by the Richelieu at Liverpool sbld at 58/. Liverpool futures: October, 11/1J per cwt: December, 10/8 i (A. andN.Z. Cable.) FROZEN MEAT. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice Trom its London office, under date July 31:— There Is a little better demand for wethers. The market is firmer for heavyweight ewes. The lamb market is weaker for heavyweights, but lightweights are steady. The outlook for beef is more favourable. Wethers, light 7d to BJd per lb, heavy 6*d to 7d; ewes, 5d to 6|d; lamb, under 42's IOJd to 12d, over 42's 9}d to 10id, seconds lid to 11 id; ox, hinds 51d to s*d, Tores 3d to 3Jd; cow, hinds 4id to sd, fores 2}d to 3d.
