Members of the Auckland branch of the Sanitary Inspectors' Association listened last evening to a very interesting lecture given by Dr. de Clivc Lowe on "Germs." • With the aid of lantern slides Dr. Lowe dealt at considerable length with various disease-bearing gem*, the effect they had on mankind, and the won- | derful discoveries science had . made to combat the ravages of the germ. | At the conclusion of the lecture Dr. I Lowe was accorded a vote of thanks.
