RODNEY'S PENSION.
ADMIRAL'S DESCENDANTS. ICOMMUTATED FOR £42,000. LONDON, August 4. It was announced in the House of Commons that the perpetual pension granted to Admiral Rodney (first baron) in 1782, is to be commuted in January by the payment of £42,000 to the great-great-great-grandeon of the famous English admiral.— (A. and N.Z.
