A BONFIRE OF SHIPS.
TWO HUNDRED TO BURN.
SHIPPING BOARD'S REJECTS.
(Received 10 a.m.)
NEW YORK, August 4.
The greatest bonfire in the world's history will be seen at the week-end, when 200 Shipping Board vessels, which cost an average of one million dollars each, will be towed to sea and set on fire.
Two hundred others of the wartime fleet are being sold for less than two million dollars, probably to Mr. Henry Ford.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
