INVENTION FOR PLANES.
ANTI-STALLING DEVICE.
LONDON, August 4
The Air Ministry is examining the Savage-Brampton indicator, an invention reeembling a balanced vane attached to the struts.
It is designed to obviate stalling, ■which is the most dangerous feature of modern flying.
When stalling speed is approached the vane automatically warns the pilot to adjust his joy-stick. —(A. and N.Z.)
