AN UNEXPECTED RESULT.
INCREASE IN REVENUE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLEN'GTON, this day. The Mayor states that so far the reduction of long-distance tram fares to threepence has resulted in a slight increase in revenue, instead of the anticipated loss.
