I There is only one meeting to be held ' in the Auckland province before the racing season closes, and that is. the Franklin meeting, which will take place at Avondale next Saturday. To date the sum put through the totalisator at all racing and trotting meetings amounts to £2,775.1)31J, compared witli £2,453.2.')1J last year, an increase of £322,080.
