NONAGENARIAN MINISTER.
To-day the veteran Preshyfcrian Minister of New Zealand, the" Rev. .lames Paterson. of Wellington, celebrates his n.uh birthday. Despite the weight of nearly a century of years he enjoys wonderfully good health", gets about a good deal, and enjoys more than anything a chat with hi* obi friend*. All this is amply borne out, by the fact that only on two occasions in the last IS months has he missed attendance at church on Sunday morning. He ha? been nearly 60 years in New Zealand.
