WIRELESS OF EMPIRE.
DIVERSITY OF POLICY.
BRITAIN AND DOMINIONS. TRESS UNION'S ADVICE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Ileceived 12 noon.) LONDON, April 7. In the House of Commons, Mr. P. A. Hurd declared that there was a growing diversity in the policy and practice between Britain and the Dominions in regard to Empire wireless facilities. He urged, with a view to unity, that the suggestion of the Empire Press Union should be adopted and the Governments of the Dominions be invited to confer with His Majesty's Government in order to end the present confusion. Mr. Baldwin replied that his information did not hear out Mr. Kurd's suggestion. Arrangements in connection with Imperial wireless services were proceeding satisfactorily. There was general accord between His Majesty's Government and the Dominions in this connection. He suggested that everything Mr. Hurd read in the Press was not quite accurate. It might be useful for Mr. Hurd to communicate with the Post-master-General.— (Reuter.)
