When the rendering is completed, the tanks will be ready for the reception of sewage. At the outfall, 440 feet of 15-inch concrete pipe and 130 feet of cust-iron pipe have been .laid for the month. The concrete pipe laying was now being carried on well above low water, and the contractors should be able to maintain good progress. A cofferdam was under construction at the point, and when finished, the 15-inch cast-iron pipes at the extreme end of the outfall would be laid.
