TWO CARS CAPSIZED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) EAETIHI, this day. A miraculous escape from a fatal accident occurred yesterday, when Mr. Xorman Waldegrave and a party comprising Messrs. Dean and Reese were ■proceeding to Raetihi from Kaitieke. When negotiating the Raurimu spiral the car skidded, and overturned a couple of times before it was pulled up by a fence, the car 'being badly damaged. Mr. Waldegrave sustained a broken collarbone, but the others escaped with minor injuries. Mr. S. C. Murray, chairman of the Wairnarino County Council, met with an accident when proceeding to Wanganui via Parapa yesterday. His car went over a bank and got hung in some ■ trees. Fortunately no injury to the • passengers resulted. The car was 1 slightly damaged.
