OBITUARY.
MRS. D. I. FAULDER. SIXTY ..YEARS , COLONIST. The death at. Richmond, Grey Lynn, of Mrs. D. I. Faulder, at the age of 81 years, removes another old colonist. She arrived in New Zealand sixty years ago, and was married at Christchurch by the late Mr. Thomas Faulder. Over half a century ago Mr. and Mrs. Faulder ■ came to Auckland and settled at Surrey. Crescent, on what was then a farm in the country, where the family has lived ever since. Portions of the farm have been cut up and sold for building purposes, and the house is now in the centre of a \vell-built-upon suburb. Mrs. Faulder had been connected "with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre from the days-when it was located near the cemetery in Symonds Street. Mr. Faulder died in 1807. There are four sons and four daughters.
