FORESTERS' CONFERENCE.
(From Our Qn~u Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Wednesday.. The Grand Lodge of the 1.0.0. F. set up a special Finance Committee (the largest committee ever appointed by the order in the Dominion), and this body spent many hours discussing a proposal to extend sick benefit to a pound a week for 52 weeks and ten shillings a week thereafter, this benefit- to date from the enrolment of a. member. The committee willr report to-morrow. The grand lodge passed a resolution expressing deep appreciation of the lifelori" services of Past Grand Bro. William Reid (Dunedin), Consulting Grand; Secretary. Bro. H. G. Adams,.. Grand Representative to Auetralia, was elected Grand Recording' Secretary, -and Bro Sydney ]sccles, Grand Guardian. Bro. Percy Evans,. Grand Chaplain', took his seat at the conference to-day. ' ~''
