RECENT KIDNAPPING CASE. LONDON, March 17. In reply to a question in the House of Commons. Mr. G. T. Locker-Lampson ( Under Secretary for the Home Department ) said the Government was inquiring into tbe kidnapping of Pollitt, the "red" leader, while he was journeying to Liverpool en Saturday. The railway officials at Edgehill station, in replying to criticisms of their non-interference, say they thought he was demented and wns under escort.
