ASSAULT ON MONEYLENDER.

ACCUSED MAN SET FREE. LONDON, March 17. The insurance agent, Albert G. Rodwell, who was charged with assaulting the Armenian business man, Mr. Ekisler. in the latter's London office, has been discharged. The victim of the assault stated that Rodwell was not his assailant. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) AATion the police arrested Rodwell lie said he knew nothing about the Ekisler affair, as he had spent the whole day at Eastcote. Presumably his attempt to prove an alibi has been strengthened by Ekisler's failure to recognise him as the person who assaulted him.
