A GIRL DROWNED.
FATALITY AT MABSDBN" POINT. (By Telegraph.—Press Amoctati-8.. WHANGAREI, this day. A ten-year-old girl, Daphne May Jurakovich slipped into a deep water hole in a creek bed near Marsden Point on Saturday afternoon, and, being unable to swim, was drowned. An attempted rescue "by a girl companion failed.
An inquest was held yesterday and a verdict of accidental death was returned.
