TWO MEN DROWNED.

CAPSIZE OF A GIG. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. Advice has been received from Naseby that Mr. Joseph Allan, aged 71, was drowned in the Kyeburn River on Friday. He was returning with Mr. W. Hoare from the Waipiata sports, when the gig capsized in the river. Mr. Hoare held to the reins and was dragged to safety. Mr. Allan's body has not yet been recovered.
