WATERSIDERS' DISPUTE.

TROTJBLiE AT GISBORNE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBOE_vE, this day. The -watersiders this morning are working wool, butter and general cargo on the steamer Cumberland, but when a call was made for working the meat cargo of this steamer no response was made.

It was stated on Saturday that the refusal was understood to be owing to the terms of a. new award which provided for (hourly payment instead of a contract.
