It is said that playgoers in this connection win see a wonderful combination, that of a dashing, virile cast which includes Mr. Arthur Ptlgant. in a highly melodious comic opera, allied to the genius or Mr. Asche as producer. "A southern Maid" will be played for sly nlg-hts. with a matinee, commencing Thursday next. Box plans win be opened st Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd.. to-morrow morning. To rollow "A Southern Maid" win be given special revivals or "The Merry Widow" and "The Maid or the Mountains." FULLER'S OPERA HOUSE. A very popular comedian in George Storey will make a reappearance at tbe Opera House this arternoon. after a long absence. Mr. Storey will he accompanied this time by his own new revue company, which includes several old and new favourites. The first production, which is in three scenes, is entitled "The Men in Possession," and much fun is caused in the second scene by the efforts or a couple of bailiffs to gain entrance to the house or a lady debtor, George storey and Rich. Butler as the "bailiffs" completely railing to gain entrance after several ludicrous devices, until a policeman obligingly engage sthe attention the fair doorkeeper. They then nnd they are in the wrong house, but not until they disturb a dinner party. Prominent features or the revue are humorous situations, pretty songs, and clever ballet work by "The Delectable Six." The finale Is a beautirul spectacular effort. Newcomers in the first hair of the programme ar« Mdlle. Ceclle and Frank Eldred. presenting "A New York Roof Garden FroUc," in which the two clever artists will ba seen in an original dance creation entitled "The Spider and the Fly." Another pair new to Auckland are Steppin and Sees, presenting a clever acrobatic Jugglinir speciality, in which many new and novel "stunts" will be introduced. Calland and Hooper have made an excellent impression with their artistic vocßl act and this arternoon win be heard in new numbers. J. G. Taylor and Dorothy Sunt- ! mers will present a new series or songs and impressions, and the bill is completed by the eccentric novelty or Pic and Alf. ST. LEON'S CIRCUS. At St. Leon's Circus this evening. Jos Gregory, a local rider, will attempt to ride one or the horses ridden by two Australian champions at the Melbourne competitions. The same conditions that were in existence, in the Commonwealth will apply this evening.
