MEETING AT WANGANUI.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, Sunday. The annual rifle-shooting meeting of the Wanganui-West Coaßt Rifle Association commenced on Saturday morning on the Putiki rifle range. The weather in the early morning was favourable, but heavy rain fell frequently during the day, making a postponement necessary. The entries total 121 and include a number of New Zealand's leading marksmen. The Wanganui match. 300 and 500 yds, was completed with the following result:— A Grade.—Rifleman b: J. Solcr (Wanganui), £5, score 67: Rifleman W. J. Green (Tekawa), £4, g7; W. A. Kenning (Nelson!, £3, 67; Captain H. Slmmonds (Wanganui), £2. 66: Rifleman M. R. Kells (Linton), £2. 67.
